graduation!

my awesome hubby graduated from nursing school! wahoo! 

i'm so proud of him and all of his hard work.

another dose of randomness...

this little lady of mine just loves to be outside.  luckily my parents have a fun swing set and trampoline for her to play on.  girlfriend is in heaven in their backyard!

she's got quite the life...

we took marley bowling the other day and she loved it!  it was so funny to watch her little face.  she'd push the ball and then get so excited as it would roll down the lane.  she'd wave her arms all around until it hit the pins (or went in the gutter) and then she'd clap for herself.  so freakin cute!

so have i mentioned that my little (and by little i mean younger - but very much taller) brother, matt, is a superstar?!

well he is.  he scored 2 out of brighton's 5 goals last night to put his lacrosse team into the state semi-finals.  oh and he has a dislocated shoulder at the moment.  so yeah, kind of a superstar.  let's hope they can win 2 more games and take the championship!!

i'm so proud of my little girl....she loves to brush her teeth.  i've taught her well!

recently...

 we've been having fun enjoying the nice spring weather!

marley is obsessed with being outside.  she goes to the front door and begs and pleads and whines until i take her out to play.

 she gets going so fast sometimes that i just cross my fingers that she doesn't face-plant...

 

my mom got this fancy little pool for the backyard, and miss magoo is in HEAVEN!

she loves to splash and kick and soak up the sun.

not quite the same as grandma & grandpa peterson's pool... but they had fun!

my mom also got marley her own little lounge chair.  lucky lady!  she likes to put the chair in the pool and soak her feet while drinking from her sippy cup.  miss princess has got quite the life!

 little girl insisted on wearing these bunny ears the other day.  she cracks me up!  she had such a serious face and walked around the house just doing her thing, bunny ears and all.

we kept this poor little girl up waaaay too late last night.  we went to a frozen yogurt shop with some friends and she snuck off with her blankie and got cozy in the corner.  i guess that means it's bedtime!

i'm anxious for the weather to really decide that it wants to be warm, for good.  we were back to our jeans & hoodies today and froze our butts off at matt's lacrosse game.  i'm ready for capris and flip flops and boating and swimming and zoo days and bbq's!  can't freaking wait.

and on an unrelated note, i've been 30 for 3 days now and haven't broken a hip or anything yet.

so that's good.

east canyon {2012}

we headed up to east canyon with the peterson possey last weekend.
we had a great time, of course.... but i was a slacker on the picture taking. i was having too much fun playing games with my cousins, taking naps, eating yummy food and hanging out with miss marley moo.

pink or blue?!?

we found out baby #2's gender today!

we told the ultrasound tech we just wanted her to write it in a sealed envelope and not tell us what it was.
i was dying to know, and kept looking at the screen to see if i could see any little boy parts. but hey, they pretty much look like aliens at this point so i had no idea what i was looking at.
(it was a pretty freakin cute little alien, though, with its feet kicking all around!)
we then took the sealed envelope to a bakery and had them put pink or blue frosting in the middle of a dozen cupcakes. again, i kept staring at the cupcakes trying to see if i could see any sloppy frosting anywhere, but nope!
we headed to my parents house with the fam for the big reveal!

glen picked a blue plate and i picked a pink one... we'll see who was right!

and it turns out marley is going to have a little SISTER!

we are soooo excited! it will be fun for marley to have a little sis, since they'll just be 22 months apart. hopefully they'll be bff's. and hey, i've got all the pink clothes and gear already!
