grand theft auto

i'm not talking about the video game.
i'm talking about my freaking stolen car!
my precious 4runner was stolen out of my carport a week ago and there's still no trace of it. i keep waiting for the cops to call and tell us they found it, but no such luck. i don't know how some people sleep at night.
and to make matters worse, marley's car seat and stroller were in there too. seriously dude, you couldn't have tossed the car seat out first before you took off with my car? luckily i have awesome friends that are letting me borrow all that kind of stuff... but still! so lame.
i keep randomly thinking of things that were in there. i was getting marley dressed and went to grab her cute pink toms, only to remember she had pulled them off and thrown them on the floor of the 4runner the day before and i had forgot to bring them inside. for the love, not the toms! and my 2 pairs of oakley sunglasses... don't worry about my retinas getting scorched by the sun, you effing thief. ugh i'd love to have some words with this guy {or gal}

charcoal gray toyota 4runner... utah license plate B115JV

we've tried driving around some sketchy parts of town looking for it, but it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack! and who knows, they could have driven to freaking mexico by now. the cops said sometimes they'll steal a car and do what they want with it and then dump it somewhere... then a while later someone will report an abandoned vehicle and we could find it that way. or they'll be joyriding and speeding and get pulled over {or not pull over and it turns into a high speed chase}
anyway, it's just a waiting game right now. luckily my insurance will cover a rental car for a month so i'm not having to ride my bike, cause that would be really hard with a one year old.
if we don't find the car in 30 days our insurance will pay us for it and we have to get a new one. i honestly don't know what i want to happen. i loved that car and am so so sad! but if it's completely trashed and they've made a mobile meth lab out of it, then i don't want it back. so i guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

glen has wanted a gun forever, but i kept saying no because i didn't want to spend the money. for the last few months though, i've started to think about what the heck i would do if someone broke in when glen was at work. he works nights at the hospital a lot, so it makes me uneasy to be home alone. you see so many stories on the news and there's just so many crazies out there. well after this whole car ordeal we went out and got ourselves a gun! you can take my car, but if you try to break in my house i will protect my babies and you will be sorry!

first time at the shooting range

i'm kinda hard core now

pretty sure i could slightly injure a bad guy

if you're driving around and happen to see a gray 4runner with license plate B115JV
call the cops {if the thief hasn't switched the plates out!}
and don't ever steal someone's car cause it's really rude. k thanks :)

sledding

we took this little lady sledding for the first time last weekend. she was in heaven! she would just grin the whole way down the hill, and then get mad when we'd get to the bottom. so we trucked back up the hill again, and again, and again, and again...
anything to make miss moo happy :)

i realize she looks like an amputee with little stumps in her snowsuit,
but i assure you all of her limbs are intact.

i love her little tongue sticking out in this picture :)

she was having issues walking in her snowsuit and kept falling over and couldn't get up. like the kid on a christmas story. please tell me you'd laugh too? or am i the only mean mom out there?? cause i laughed so hard i cried and had glen grab the camera before i helped her up. and she wasn't even crying or wanting help, which made me laugh even harder. she just sat there with her head stuck in the snow and didn't make a peep. oh my gosh i'm crying again just thinking about it.

we had such a fun day outside in the snow as a family!

15 months. what the?!

how the heck is my baby getting so old?!
actually she'll be 16 months old next week...ugh it makes me want to throw up.
pleeeeeease stop!

some fun
marley facts at 15 months:

*she thinks she's the shiz now that she can walk. she just waddles from room to room and is happy as a clam!
*still can't say many words other than doggie, daddy and uh-oo
*understands a lot of what i say to her, even though she can't talk back to me. i'll tell her to go get something and she knows exactly what to do.
*she'll pull all of her toys out of the basket, but then is such a good little helper and will put them all back in. it's apparently a ton of fun to pull everything out and then put it back 50 times a day.
*babbles in her baby language all day long - adorable!
*she's kinda started flirting/interacting with strangers lately. she'll smile and tilt her head or hide her face, and then glance back at them to see if they're looking at her, and then smile again. then sometimes she'll get shy, and other times she'll hand them her book or baby doll and want to play with them. cracks me up to watch!

*has recently discovered the fun trick of sticking her tongue out and spitting... i secretly think it's adorable. i'm probably a bad mom because i do it back to her all the time, so she's not really going to understand that it's kinda rude. oh well.
*loves doggies, and calls every animal {and a lot of people} a doggie
*has recently started biting. i do not think this is adorable! we're working on this one.
*loves to give her baby cuddles and kisses and feed her a bottle
*loves fruit!
*loves playing peek-a-boo
*sleeps 12+ hours at night and takes a good nap during the day. thank you!
*loves to play with the tv remote. she'll push random buttons and then hand the remote to you and say uh-oo so you can turn it back to her cartoons.

*loves bath time and thinks it's hilarious to kick her feet and splash
*can now give high 5's and do bones! glen is so proud.
*loves to be tickled. sometimes when i stop, she'll grab my hands and put them back on her for me to tickle her more. gladly!
*can push the button on my iPhone and swipe it to unlock it. it's her favorite toy!
*loves to watch videos of herself on my phone, or videos of other babies on YouTube
*wants to marry mickey mouse. she gets so giddy when he does that cute little hot dog dance.
*loves walking up and down {needs help going down, though} the stairs when we go to my parents house. she'd do it for hours if someone was willing to help her for that long.

she is just the sweetest little thing in the world. i love her so much i don't really know how to put it into words. i wish i could adequately express what she means to me, but hopefully she gets the gist of it with the 1.5 million kisses and "i love you's" she gets every day!

wobbly walker!

we've got a walker on our hands over here {finally!}
she took her sweet little time, but at 15 months marley decided it was time to quit being a baby and get up and walk.
it's the cutest little drunken wobble i've ever seen.

she's so excited about this new freedom and will walk up and down the hallway a million times,
just cause she can and she's cool like that.

she loves to walk over to the dvd player and push the eject button.
i'm not sure why that's so freakin exciting, but it sure does float her boat.

it's so dang cute to watch her little face light up. she's so proud of the fact that she can pick up a toy or her baby doll and walk around while holding it. she'll take things from room to room like it's her day job. i love this little lady!

aquarium

we took miss magoo to the aquarium last weekend. she thinks every animal is a doggie right now... we looked at the otters, the penguins, the sting rays, turtles, snakes, a million fishies - and as she'd look at each animal she'd say "DOGGIE!"

checkin' out the cute little otters

walking around with her daddy & uncle jesse

marley got sooo excited to put her hands in the sting ray pool. i don't even think she noticed the slimy little guys swimming around - she was just in heaven being able to splash. silly girl!

and her favorite part of the day was playing in the gift shop. she thought this shark mask was the funniest thing she'd ever seen in the whole world in her whole life. she makes me smile :)
